sorry for the long delay in response.
From the Content Dashboard you can see the views per topic within the defined time period.
Unfortunately you cannot see trends within the Analytics section of control.
With a tool like Google Analytics you can see the page view trend on a per article basis.
You will need to filter the pages you are interested in, but it is doable and will give you a trend.
even a nice summary of views per user.
