Converting a private group topic into a knowledge base article

I am curious if a member of a private group can create a topic and an admin thenconverts that topic into a Knowledge base article via the control panel?

This is possible. Group members can submit a conversation or question into a (private) group.

Admins can move this topic into the Knowledge base and promote it to an Article from the topic moderation page.

@Dkreiger,

I’ve just tested this, and it appears to be somewhat possible. The member of a group who is not an admin can not create articles, only questions and conversations. The conversation can then be moved to the knowledge base, but it can not be converted into an article, if they are not an admin user.

@Jeanie Lee ok, can a non-admin create a questions/conversation within the private group, then an admin migrate that topic to the knowledge base and make it an article?

This is possible. Group members can submit a conversation or question into a (private) group.

Admins can move this topic into the Knowledge base and promote it to an Article from the topic moderation page.
