Customise the new post page

Hi all,

I’ve noticed that, here on the InSided Community, you’ve got a few widgets alongside the post editor which are really quite nice:

However when I customise my own community, I don’t get the option to add those to the page. How has this been implemented on InSided?

Hey @Onomatopoeia,

Have you checked out this Knowledge Base article about Sidebars?

You’ll see we make a distinction between two sidebars:

  • General sidebar: Default sidebar for all pages of your community, except homepage and topic pages.
  • Topic sidebar: This sidebar appears on topic pages and replaces the general sidebar.

There are some OOTB widgets that can be added (e.g. badges & tags seen in the screenshot above) as well as fully customisable HTML widgets that you can create.

If you need any help with these just let me know.
