Customize Group Page

Hi @summers, nice to meet you! I’m Sebastiaan, Group Product Manager for inSided. I’d love to hear more about what you would like to add to group pages, and how you think that would help improve the experience for group members. Can you share some examples?

@summers you can feature some posts and/or events at the top of the group. I’ve found that to be helpful in the past. 

Sounds like that will help with your featured content use case. 

You do that from the back end, I believe, not the front end.

+1 to @DannyPancratz - featuring key reference articles or using the sticky to host the recent articles on top are features I’ve explored that has helped my members on the front end.

You can also add a tag that is the crux of the group, for members to discover it easily within community to pop that group up!

I’m looking to do something like host a CAB. I’d like to have documents like a charter pinned to the page. Perhaps this could work in the right 1/3 column like it does in many other topic pages?? 

​@hopoatem - you could host these documents into a single post and have them featured on your page or group - I’m assuming that’s what you are looking for?

You could also add them as a KB of sorts within the specific category page as a list item.
