Do you use Email Campaign for Event Invitation? Lets discuss about the numbers for once off Mails!

Hi Community, 

In the last few weeks, we have invited Members to an onsite event, we selected the members who are based in this city and send them a once-off E-Mail Campaign

The response seems incredibly successful to me, especially compared to our Monthly Newsletter (Send out via Hubspot). Also the registrations through this mailing were excellent.

I want to validate and compare the numbers now with other Communities. Similar to @revote’s Post: 


What numbers do you get in Segmented once off Mailings? 
@aluciani, @VarshaAhir you seem to use the tool. Also @KrisGoose, I have seen you are using the automated E-Mail Campaign and having great numbers there, congrats! Are you also using the once-off E-Mail Campaigns?


We have sent the e-mail campaign from both our 2 Platforms and got numbers:

  • Open Rate: 50-60%
  • Click Rate: 13-15%

 


The segmentation, sending it out to only members who are based in the City, seem to be the key driver of success in this case.

I use them for event reminders,  but I am debating pre-recorded vs live events now to allow for a very overworked audience that can’t make it to a single time slot.

The open rate is very high for these event emails :)

thanks for sharing, are the open rates similar to the ones above? 

That is a bit of another topic, but we also have an audience where time is precious.
Up until now, we had a live event (Product Update Webinar with demos) being recorded and a followup post with the recording and time stamps posted in the Community, so that members can jump right to the demo that interested them. Not sure what kind of events you have, but wanted to share that this was working well for us for quite a while.

Juan, does the AMA topic and therefore description vary? Do you send it out to a segmented Group or to everybody? 

Chris, wow, the open rates are also incredibly high, even when the recipient group is large it is above 45%. This seems really strong to me. 😍

It does, as I have different actions per AMA and questions for the Audience.  Depending on the actions I send it out to registered customers or registered customers + internal members.
