Our 'Flagged' folder is filling up with topics.

What should happen to flagged content after we've looked at it?

There should be a 'remove flag' feature. If there is, where is it?

The remove flag is on the flagged post itself 🙂

Thanks Ditte!

I’m still not 100% on how this folder is best worked.

  • I have a list of topics in the folder. I click on one, and then have to scroll through all comments to find the offenders, marked in red. If this is correct, it’s not an ideal WoW if there’s a hefty topic with lots of comments. If there’s a better way, please share!@Julian what do we think?
  • On one example, the topic has several comments that are trashed. Perhaps in the past they were flagged, but now they’re deleted. I can’t see the option to remove the flag, and yet this topic still sits in the flagged folder. How do I get rid of it? *Correction: there was one trashed comment that needed to be unflagged. This topic has now automatically removed from flagged folder. :)*

Thanks for any advice!

Hey Tim,

thanks a lot for sharing your feedback and questions!

I personally prefer a different way to get to the comment in question, namely the email notifications for reported content. In this email notification a link points directly to the reported comment - no need to browse the entire topic. For that of course you need to be registered for these notifications in [flagged content alerts] in your Control Environment.

I assume your second question does not need an answer any more? 🙂 Let me know if you have more questions around this!

Yep my mistake re flagged comments - just missed one!

I’ll edit my email notifications - probably best to be on these reported comments super quick so an email notification is a great shout - thanks!
