We realise that the corona crisis causes challenging times for you, and we recognize the importance of keeping you up-to-date on how InSided is ensuring that your communities keep running at the same high level that you are accustomed to. It is of great importance to us to continue to provide you with the best possible experience at all times. And we also want to be proactive in communicating with you, if and when, you might see an impact on your daily work.
Here’s our current strategy:
At the moment inSided is asking all employees to work from home, based on non binding Government advice to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The health and safety of our employees and customers is our top priority. We have implemented a number of policies to reduce the impact of the situation as much as possible, now and in the near future. This, however, hasn't slowed our operations or our deliveries. Our teams remain fully operational and can do their jobs entirely remotely.

Data and privacy is not affected by remote working and we can maintain the privacy and security systems that are part of our ISO/IEC 27001:2013 protocols. InSided is a fully cloud based company and is used to remote working. In case of emergency everybody is able to do their work from home. By using a VPN with a dedicated IP address, secure access is guaranteed. No data will be shared on private networks or local storage.

inSided is using a business continuity plan as part of our ISO/IEC 27001:2013 management system and is yearly audited by an external party.

Uptime and platform maintenance will be managed by the On Call development team that is split in two teams that work separately from each other and in asynchronous shifts.

The On Call team and part of the Management Team is able to transfer access rights for critical business applications. Milestones are agreed upon when action is needed. External contractors are selected to support in case of a shortage of employees with critical knowledge.

Backups are made inside the data center on a continuous basis and outside of the platform (off site) automatically in a daily routine. Encryption of those backups is ensured and stays as secure as always.

Availability of the platform is the highest priority at any time. In case recovery is needed, we will consider at any moment to move capacity from platform development to platform recovery. Incidents will keep the existing SLA’s as communicated on the InSided website.

Many customers ask us if we can scale our availability, since they expect that community traffic will increase. Higher amounts of traffic can be handled by the platform due to the Cloud best practices that are in place.

inSided is a financially stable company and is able to maintain business critical systems and employees for a long period of time.
