How can I get the most out of embeddables?

The Embeddable widget is a piece of code you can implement in a website. After you have implemented it, a widget will be displayed showing content from your community based on the website it is implemented in.

So for example: Your company has a website www.website.com that presents all your products. “Product A” has an own page on that website www.website.com/product-a. If you implement the code for the embeddable widget on that page, community content regarding “Product A” will be automatically shown. 

You can configure and optimize the embeddable widget by (for example) excluding certain words. So if you don’t want to show community content regarding problems with Product A, you could exclude words like “problem” or “broken”. Also you could exclude older content from being shown in the embeddable widget.

As for the benefit: (Potential) Customers usually trust user generated content more than company content. So if people in your community are talking positively (or in other constructive ways) about your products, this could lead to more trust and more sales. Also your existing customers might get some self-service out of the embeddable widget by finding a solution to a question they are having.
