Hi @Gabriel Fernando
While the language switcher is the future for multi language, right now DH supports multi-language in various ways with the modules available.
Language categories using the community module (single instance)
https://community.looker.com/ (Japanese Section),
https://community.pipefy.com/ (Portuguese Section)
https://en.community.sonos.com/ (Danish Section)
Language groups using the Groups module (single instance)
https://community.miro.com/groups (German, French, Spanish, Portuguese)
https://community.c2cglobal.com/groups (French, German, English)Benefit of single instance approach:
All information, content, users and settings are in a single platform.
Statistics are language wide and can be filtered per language.
Language platforms (multiple inSided instances)
https://en.deezercommunity.com/ (English) vs https://fr.deezercommunity.com/ (French) vs https://de.deezercommunity.com/ (German)
https://community.infoland.eu/ (English) vs. https://community.infoland.nl/ (Dutch)
https://community.koodomobile.com/ (English) vs. https://communaute.koodomobile.com/ (French)
Benefit of multi instance approach:
Content, users, settings and design are unique per instance.
Downside of multi instance approach:
Harder and more time consuming to manage different communities. Harder to do benchmarking/analytics across multiple instances.
I would add you could use a Custom page to work as an alternate language landing page also. Which then leads into the created content.
I hope that gives you some ideas in the short term.
Please keep the conversation going if you we can help in any way.
Alistair
Hi @Gabriel Fernando! As you are aware, we are working on localization and would want to know more about the difficulties you are experiencing. Could we arrange a quick call next week to go over the challenges? If yes, please feel free to schedule a call with me using this link.
