We would like to have a possibility to curate comments and replies for some of the articles. can we selectively apply this feature? Is there such a feature for Insided?

Currently you can only select permissions at a category level, rather than selecting this for specific articles. You can do that in your Control environment by going to Platform → Community/Knowledge Base → Edit (on selected category) → Permissions.
Can you please tell me a little bit more about your use case and what you are trying to achieve?
