Use case:

We are already using the Ideation Module for our customers to share ideas with our Product Team. This Ideation Module is restricted and only viewable for members who have the role “Customer” and our “Employees”

Now we are wondering if there is a possibility to set up a separate Ideation Module that we can use internally only (so with separate access rights, only accessible to “Employees” etc.)

The idea is to collect our own Employees’ ideas and discuss ideations separately and have that section not viewable to customers.

AFAIK there is only one ideation module and it’s not possible to create a separate one.
Does somebody know a good solution / workaround for that?

Hi @Daniele Cmty,

Correct, having two Ideation Modules is currently not possible with the inSided platform. I’m not exactly sure how this goal could be accomplished. Maybe you could create a Product Area titled “Employees Only” and have employees submit their ideas here. However, they would still be publicly facing, which could actually be beneficial, so that customers could vote on them. Customers would still have access to post their idea in the “Employees Only” product area; however, a moderator could easily move the idea to the right product area.

Hi there, unfortunately that wouldn’t be a viable workaround because we were specifically considering an Ideation Module that is not viewable by the customers.
Thanks for your reply!

Best,
Daniele
