The answer to this is probably no based on this:
Moderator Tags are private: only moderators can add them to topics, and they’re never exposed to your community members.
I don’t need my community to see the moderator tags, but I’m wondering if there’s a search parameter that can be used on the front end to serve up content from that moderator tag.

Moderator Tags are NOT a field that is part of the search algorithm. Only public tags are part of the search attributes.
If you ever had a profile with us, there's no need to create another one.
