Any way the team can make these windows larger by default or allow us to expand it.
Would love to know if others have the same issues.

I agree with the wish of having a larger text field, not only in phrases, but also for example for the new Custom CSS editor in the frontend customization.
However, I believe that once the phrases function isn’t used to customize HTML anymore (like customizing whole pages like the 404 page or email notifications), then the issue of having a small text field will be virtually non-existent anymore. Because in my opinion phrases are supposed to be short texts or single words, not complex page elements or whole functions.
