Menu next to the post is visible only for user who are logged in?

Sorry but I am confused now, has this been always like this:

Menu next to the post is visible only for user who are logged in.

There is option to choose link to the post, so it is important menu to visitors as well.

    Yes this will be a permissions issue. Depending on your level of permissions, you will see different options in this menu e.g. editing, linking to URL and flagging

    At the moment, if you aren’t logged in, none of these options are available so the menu does not appear.

    I would encourage you to raise an idea explaining the use case here and highlighting any other actions you would want to allow guests to take.

    I am not sure if that has always been the case or not.

    I can imagine that the menu is only controllable on the upper most level, in terms of permission.

    There is always the native url to copy and paste.

    The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few. 🖖

    Okay, thanks a lot @Alistair FIeld & @olimarrio. As I said I was confused because of this, I didnt remember how this has been. Now I know, this has has been like this always 😊
