Hi all,

A view of our users mentioned a button on our community. @Niels Kamper and I have been searching all over our website, but couldn't find it. Is there any way our community members see different features than we do? Also: what does this button do? Translated to English, it says 'Mark all forums read'.

Hey Monique,

You need to have this setting enabled to see the option to mark things as read 😃

We built this functionality based on this idea. So its more for active users, so when they visit the community then can see what new topics & posts there are since their last visit. But then if they've read all posts which interest them, then can mark all other topics/posts as read by clicking that button on the homepage. So then the next time they visit the community, they can easily see the new posts since they last visited.
Hi @Shane1,

I found the button quickly after reading your explanation, so thanks! A different question: the grammar on this button seems off, and our community members also suggested that 'Mark all topics read' would make more sense than 'Mark all forums read'. I want to change the button, but I can't find it in phrases. Can you tell me where I can change it?
Hey Monique, you can change it with the live edit tool on the front-end, I just changed it for you 🙂

Thanks @Shane1! I tried to edit it front-end as well, but everytime I press the 'Phrases'button the page get stuck. I notified @tom.shaddock about it today.
