Hello :)

We are in the process of uploading our knowledge base and implementing the embeddable widget and my team wondered -  Is it possible to open a ticket directly from the widget - or in another way privately?

Hi @Idan. I’m happy to hear that you’re implementing the embeddable widget! Our clients have found a lot of success with the feature. While there is not a way to submit a ticket within the widget, you can create an external link on the bottom of the widget with text such as, “Haven’t found what you’re looking for? CONTACT SUPPORT” The text can link out to whatever ticketing system your team is using.

@Jeanie Lee We’ve also considered this but in a perfect world we’d be allowed more than just an external URL so we can get the chat widget to open then and there… Just a thought!
