I’d love to add recommended topics/articles that would stay permanently on the top of the category page, so that I can make certain blog posts/articles (eg. our introductions post) the first thing that users see. inSided does it on this Community, but does anyone have any idea on how to recreate this?

Hi!
It’s really quite easy: In the backend, just navigate to “platform” > “community”. then click on “edit” at any category. you’ll find “curated content” there - just add the topics you like!
