Can I change the topic creator and assign it to me?

Unfortunately, this is not supported at the moment. Mostly as it is not just about changing the author name in e.g. an article page, but it also has effects on many different parts of the platform like user statistics, activity streams, notifications and many more.

We have received multiple requests in this direction lately, so hopefully we will offer something like it in the future. Could you let us know more about your specific use case? In which situations would you like to change the author?

@Julian I would love to post questions on behalf of my CEO or team leader. So a solution here it would be to allow users either to change the author or to let users post questions in behalf of other users :)

    @Fescholz you can technically post on someone’s behalf via the API (using something like Postman). You’d just set the authorId in the query params. Happy to write up how to do it if you’re interested.
