I  have created custom pages with product names affiliated in the URL slug and now our product names are changing.

I read that slugs cant be changed or edited, but I'm wondering if there is a workaround or updates to this to avoid having to recreate the custom pages one by one again.

I am afraid but there is no good workarounds with this :/

I dont know any other options, than just build new pages manually. Widget per widget.

Open two browsers, so you can copy copy´s easily.

Hi @revote, thanks for taking the time to reply. I suspected as much, but was still hopeful.

I thought I heard there would be a future enhancement where we could duplicate a page but not sure when that would roll out (or maybe wishful thinking!).

You can do a link redirect via Third Party Script for the new product name URL to the custom page you have set up.

Downside is that the URL of the custom page is still the old product name.

Hey @DannyPancratz, Thank you for your recommendation. Apologies in my delay in responding, and also, that I'm not entirely sure I understood your suggestion, but what I ultimately need to do is update the slug, which I can't do without creating a new page :(

I created  the “duplicate a page” functionality as an idea to make my future folks lives easier. If you or @revote think it could help pls. upvote!
