Hello all! 

I have a question, and hope someone can assist until I hear back from Support. One of our users is unable to post replies under topics. They are the only one with this this issue as far as I know, so I am unsure what is going on. He rebooted his computer and it is continuing to give him an error message every time he attempts to comment. 

Has anyone dealt with this issue? 

 

 

User cant post at all, no matter which topic? Have you checked user’s role(s), is there everything ok? I am not sure is this possible skenario here but has user accepted or rejected cookies?


hi @revote! yeah, no matter the topic he cannot reply, and it is not a cookie issue. will try changing his role around and see if that makes a difference!

Can user try to post with different device? If it doesnt work with it either, then the problem is with user profile. If it works then it is issue with the computer / browser.

He has used different devices and browsers. I changed his role and his PMs started working again (also wasn’t operating), but still no fix to the comment issue.. Will continue playing with the roles and seeing if it helps. thanks!


Yeah, sounds like there is something with the permissions (roles). Although that error hints somewhere else.

Tell us how you (or support) fixed issue.

I've once had this on inSpired as well, fixed itself after a few days.

It looks like you’ve encountered a bug with our ‘Super User’ primary role. Our support team are aware and are working on a fix. I’ll make sure to update this topic once they have made some progress.
