Hello ️
We noticed that users with a pseudo-compound like "@Pol Corty" can't be found very easily from frontend. You have to type "@Pol" then search in the list to find the user.
Maybe an improvement to do in the future to make our user's life better.
Thanks!

Good timing, as just this morning we deployed an improvement to @mentions results which should also help with this.
Now if I put in his username its appearing as the 2nd top result, even though they haven't participated in this topic. Can you check if you think its been improved?

Hi Shane!
Thanks for your quick reply.
When I mention "@pol corty" in this topic for example where he never wrote https://fr.deezercommunity.com/superusers-22/questions-et-remarques-relatives-au-produit-deezer-10512 he appears in 13th position.

Ah yes, I was checking on your English community, not French.
If a user has participated in the topic they will always be shown as the top results, but if they haven't participated in the topic you may need to scroll a little, but the algorithm has been improved.

I have just check with this article and it's quite better yes: https://fr.deezercommunity.com/superusers-22/superuser-brainstorming-10602
It would be great if he could appear even more at the top of the list.
He is a super user, he comments on a lot of posts and he is mentioned frequently.
Thank anyway for the information!

Ya that's really good feedback for optimising the @mention algorithm further, I will share with our Product team that superusers should always be top of the list
