I havent seen this option before, Email campaigns:

 

 

What does it mean, I can choose the sender?

I have sent several email campaigns, and as you can see from the above, there is no sender choosen. But the sender has been same than with system emails?

If I try to type something to the text field, it disappears immediately. From the drop down menu I can choose sender, same sender than than system emails.

I was encountering the same thing as you and then I tried this right below the settings you shared: 

Option to Verify a New Email

Once I added (and verified) my email address, it appeared in the dropdown for the two options above. Typing in that box that wasn’t saving for you is to assign a “Friendly From” name to the email address. Once the email has been added and verified, you can select it from the dropdown, then add the Friendly From text (ex. “From Revote”), and then the save works. So that if you switch between the email options, the Friendly From is saved.

Not the most intuitive UX and I was equally confused, but I’m glad they’ve made this enhancement to allow for different senders. 


Excellent, thanks @DannyPancratz. I have verified our email back in the days but now I know that I can verify another email as well, if needed.

Yes, after I choosed sender from dropdown, I was able to type the sender name. Not before 😀
