Currently our tool tip is:

“branded.back_to_top”

And I would like to translate it in Finnish.

Hi @revote

I see you opened a ticket.

I hadn’t managed to get an answer in time 😆

Hopefully Support can help you out.

Yeah, I will share the instructions here so others will find info in the future 🤓

This is a phrase you can edit (or create in the first place, if your community doesn’t have it yet).

Go to Customization → Phrases → Search for “branded.back_to_top”.

If it doesn’t exist:

  1. Click “Add phrase”
  2. Module: Forum
  3. Key: branded.back_to_top
  4. Singular: >your phrase]
  5. Save changes

So is there always same logic, if I find other tooltips to edit I just add it to the Key field?

I assume you have to know the key, but if you do, then I’d say the logic applies to those aswell.

Thanks. I think the key can be seen most of the cases.

Fortunately, everything will start to be edited soon 😀

Could @Kenneth R  or someone assist me on changing this phrase 😅

Today, I noticed that “Back to top” button is in English in our community.

In the Phrases tool I found this phrase

→ this phrase is correctly in Finnish but the button is in English.

So I went ahead and added the phrase mentioned in this topic:

But the button is persistently in English:

What am I doing wrong 😅

This works for us (without plural):

@revote thanks for trying to help, but unfortunately removing the plural did not help😐

I started to think about that your button is something else than this “branded.back_to_top” button:

“branded.back_to_top” button at bottom right when using desktop

Where do you see this, I cant find it from our community or here either? 😁

Mystery button

As I wrote earlier I can find a phrase in our Phrases tool
Module: Forum
Key: Back to top

→ but still this button is in English 😅

This button is for example on our homepage, right above our global footer:

@Suvi Lehtovaara yeah, I ment that maybe there is third phrase for that button 😊

@Kenneth R or @Alistair FIeld please help us 😁

Hey @revote and @Suvi Lehtovaara - we’re looking into this, there indeed doesn’t seem to be a phrase for it that I can easily identify.

Hey, so our engineers have done some work and you should now be able to update the ‘back to top’ text with this phrase:

branded.back_to_top
