Is there a way to set a specific relationship as default for CSMs when writing emails to timeline and using bcc feature?

With the BCC feature, it should be saving as a draft if there is more than record that the contact is associated to so you would be able to manually change that from drafts.

More information on the full feature set is available here: https://support.gainsight.com/SFDC_Edition/Email_Assist/Chrome_Plug-in/Gainsight_Assist_Chrome_Plug-in_User_Guide#Log_to_Timeline

@shannon There’s no way to set a default Relationship (or Company) when using the bcc: Email to Timeline feature set.

However, if you use Gainsight Assist, the Chrome plug-in for Gmail, you can get closer. When addressing a message, the plug-in will be aware if an email address is related to more than one Relationship (or Company) and will let the email writer select the appropriate Relationship (or Company) at the time of composing. Granted, it’s not a default, but this setup does give composers the chance to select the correct entity at the time of sending, and thus skip reconciling email messages that end up in Drafts.
