Hi there - if I bulk close CTAs (either in Mass Edit or in JO), and there is an email assist task attached, will it choose to send that email out in the process or will it just close the task without the email sending?

No emails from a playbook task will be sent. If you have another email step in the JO Program, that might send depending on configuration but I assume that would probably be desired in those situations.
