Want to create executive dashboards that would can filter by owner role and/or territory hierarchy.

    1. Are you talking about Dashboard global filters or filters in report builder?
    2. The schema of the object/data space from which you want to build this report?

    Something we did was implement 'CSM manager' as a formula field on various Gainsight objects that pulled someone's manager based on what's in their user profile.  We then roll then into global filters for the dashboards for each manager to configure.
