Is there a way for CSMs to add columns to reports on a dashboard that only appear in their view?

HI Sarah!  Since Dashboards are built off reports, CSM's are not able to make changes to add additional columns to those reports within the Dashboard.  The most that they are able to do is add additional filters and change the appearance of it (if not an excel view)...and export it.

There is this post that talks about the ability to have Non-Admins create reports/dashboards though -
https://community.gainsight.com/gainsight/topics/enable-users-to-create-their-own-reports

While there is nothing set in stone for an ETA - there is a lot of talk on the post.  So definitely give it a ME TOO 🙂

Thanks Sagan! I thought this was not possible but just wanted to make sure there isn't a workaround I am missing out on. I guess the best solution for now either is to get the most demanded columns up in the dashboard or build a separate dashboard for each CSM

Hi Sarah, We understand the use-case you have asked for,I see there is no workaround to add column to the reports that appear in their view.

Reporting for non-admin users is definitely on our road-map.

Thanks for posting.

Hey @gunjanm

It looks like we don’t have any existing idea yet for this.

I’d suggest creating a new idea for this.
