Looking at the object glossary:

https://support.gainsight.com/Gainsight_NXT/Administration_and_Permissions/General_Administration/Gainsight_Object_Glossary#People_Maps_Objects

It seems like I should be able to report on the influencers I set in People Maps. In my testing, I’m only seeing internal users show up there, and the data looks kind of incomplete:

I tested this by setting up people maps on an internal account we use for testing, a customer account mapping influencers that are a part of the customer’s org, then adding influencers that were from Calendly. In report builder, using the People Maps Influencers object, I can only see entries for the influencers I set that are a part of calendly, I can’t see any of the relationships between users in the account. Is this the behavior others are seeing?

@Alicia Azar I’m seeing some weirdness with an object that is documented in that glossary you showed me.

@Scotty at Calendly Thanks for the tag, Scotty! Let me ping the team internally to see if we can get some eyes on this.

@Scotty at Calendly just wanted to let you know that our product team is looking into this and will update me soon. I’ll let you know once I know more!

@Scotty at Calendly Please see the below and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

We have identified the root cause for this issue, the fix will be sent in two phases:

  1. We will be shipping a UI hotfix release early next week. This change will be applicable for new influencers which are added from People Maps, reporting on the influencers set in People Maps will work as expected for both type of influencers.
  2. Already existing influencer data sync - this change will be done at a later stage as it requires building an entirely new client for the migration sync to People Maps Influencers object.

Sweet! We just tested the feature (talk about UAT), but haven’t started making any yet. I’ll test again next week.

Is there also a fix coming for the map reporting?

Thanks @Alicia Azar !

@Scotty at Calendly Yes! Once the client for migration sync is ready, map reporting will work as expected for the already existing influencer data.

@Scotty at Calendly FYI: Phase 1 fix for this issue has been shipped to production. Adding new influencers from People Maps now will reflect correctly in the reporting (ie in the People Maps Influencers object).
