Need an option to delete the Inactive dropdown values

I need this too!

We requested this a few months ago. We were told there would not be any solution any time soon. But, one that they would do when they get to it is to give the ability to hide them from reports.

This would be a great feature to implement. Gainsight Home filters are also showing inactive values and they can still be clicked on even though they’ve been marked as inactive in Data Management.

We are a new site and we’re working through cleaning up data from the initial setup. Even if it’s not feasible to check dependencies for deleting options it seems like hiding options in reports and dashboards would give a much cleaner user experience.

Can we get an update on this? If we can’t delete old picklist items, can they at least be hidden from filters? For example, in JO, we send different versions of emails to customers based on their pricebook. Our sales team changes the pricebook names every so often, and now we have old and new pricebook names--some of which are different by just one word--in the filter list. It would be much easier for our team if the inactive values did not show in the filters.

Currently, we do not have an option to delete dropdown values from our instance therefore we can request the support team to get it deleted for you. Providing a list of old/inactive dropdown values in a CSV file to the support team will help.
