Is it possible to add Tags as a mass? The use case is, that we want to put customers to certain baskets (based on their release waves as an example) and adding a tag one by one is time consuming, as each of the accounts needs to be opened into the Edit-mode.
Am I over-looking some easy trick to do this?

The only issue is tag is a multi-select picklist and if you want to be able to update without overriding, it can get messy. If you just want to update and override, then no issue.
If you ever had a profile with us, there's no need to create another one.
