Question

Timeline

Is there a way to “pin” important information about a customer on the timeline and we could edit?  This would allow anyone internally looking at the information and may be stepping in to help a customer have this information called out as “important”.  For example, this customer only makes the decisions on what product will be used, she does not use or implement the product. Conversations are around product performance and retention (reports/data).

You could create a specific activity type for notes of this nature, but, aside from sorting to only view these activities, I’m not aware of any way to pin these for ease of reference. While not perfect, we utilize the Customer Notes field in C360 for this.

While there’s no functionality to pin a Timeline entry, there are some places to join your voice with a large number of others seeking something very similar.

I don’t see a Customer Notes field on the C360.  Can you let me know where it is at?

@melani.engelken, sorry for any confusion, this is actually just a Text field we have added to the C360 Summary tab (renamed Customer Notes). It should be listed under your Standard Widgets (Horizon).

Piggybacking on Molly’s comment, @melani.engelken you can find the topic in the Change Document for New C/R360, it’s explained under Inline Editing Capability
