Unable to add/ edit fieldsin scorecard fact objects.

Hi Team,

For scorecard fact objects, we are showing Add/ edit fields option in data management page, ideally, this is a standard object and one cannot add filds to this object.

Since, we are showing that option, when users are trying to edit any fields they are receiving this error - “database operation failed. Contact support”.

Could you please make the Add/ edit field option as grayedout or change the field type to system to avoid the confusion for the customers.

Adding fields to this object is not possible. These are GS Standard objects and are self generated.

Thanks @Wayne . I think my subject line is misleading.

Actually my post is to have those buttons hidden or atleast not allow any users to make it clikable to avoid confusion for the users.

I have edited my context to correctly represent my issue. Thanks for pitching in.

Why do you have end users in data management?

You should restrict those tabs to only GS admins.

I think @katepalli may mean us Gainsight users (admins) relating to tickets Gainsight support is receiving about trying to update it. Rather than an org letting end users in data management.

The most expensive part of building is the mistakes. That's true in construction. Not so much in CSOps. So ask questions, make mistakes and learn. All views expressed here are my own.
