Did I trigger something, ​@juan.delrio?!? 😀 Thanks for getting this out there! In summary from our call...I STRONGLY believe that any Community software solution should be connecting their community. It sounds simple, but none of them do it. 

And no, the forum doesn’t count. 

In order to truly get to know each other as humans, and build the relationships that are necessary for fostering truthful and trusted idea sharing, we have to be on a call or in person. 

Since Pulse doesn’t happen every month, I would hope Gainsight would host a monthly call for community managers. 

I’ve done this for my own community for nearly 6+ years (every month), and it’s always a success. 

Friends at Gainsight...if you need ideas around how to run one of these calls, I’m happy to share what’s worked for me. But please, get us together. Many thanks.

@dshorter - The ask is for Gainsight to arrange this monthly virtual meetup.

One of the main shortfalls ​@juan.delrio and I (along with many others) discussed is that Community platforms are leaving it to the community managers to self organize, when it should be the vendors leading by example and organizing meetups for their customers. 

Per all the comments from above, there’s a real ask (and need) for this. So we’d like you - Gainsight - to make it happen. Per my comment above, I’m happy to share the outline I use during my monthly meetups with customers. Otherwise, if you ask this community, I have no doubts they’ll provide awesome feedback on what they’d like from these meetups. 😀

Thank you, ​@revathimenon! I was just thinking about this! 😀 Also, I just wanted to be sure Gainsight understood that we’re looking for a call with Community managers, not folks in Customer Success (though we love them). Keeping the group tight with those who focus on Community will allow us to have strategic conversations that benefit everyone on the call. Though if you don’t already have it in the works, I’m guessing your CS customers would also love a similar call!
