In November, we’ll be moving our Gainsight University training content back to the Skilljar by Gainsight platform. Very little downtime is expected, and the only action you’ll need to take is to reset your password once the migration is complete. We’ll keep you posted with more details as the exact timeline is finalized! We're making this change because the Skilljar LMS offers robust support for commerce, comprehensive analytics functionality, and a superior administrative experience. What does this mean for you?Gainsight University will still have the same URL. Usernames are still your email address.  Users will need to reset their passwords after the migration. Direct access to Skilljar Dashboard reports will be available for managers.  We do not anticipate any significant disruption to your training experience.Please complete any in-progress courses before Nov. 19, or they may not be migrated.  As you may know, Pulse is headed to Dublin, Ireland, in November 2026!We need to hear from our EMEA Gainsight Admins whether you're interested in attending our in person PAL Admin 200 training, the day before the conference. The agenda is a bit TBD (for example, we'd love to invite some Admins to present on topics you're excited about), but the US event agenda (scroll to bottom) is a good example of what to expect. Admin 200 is best suited to Gainsight CS Admins with at least 6 months of hands-on experience administering Gainsight. Tickets are typically €400 - 500 pp (separate from Pulse).If you are interested in attending (or have topic requests), please comment ASAP! We need to make a decision by the end of May about whether to host the training event. Thank you! 😊

@keith_mattes, a Technical Program Specialist for Rapid7, also works as one of their key Gainsight Administrators. Keith’s previous experience as a Gainsight Admin is invaluable to his current role, but gaining that expertise required a lot of experimentation and a willingness to fail.I’ve iterated a bunch. I think sometimes it’s trial by fire, but a lot of times it’s trial by error.Keith’s use of Gainsight at Rapid7 has become an important part of their workflow, but it didn’t start that way. He said there was a learning curve of figuring out what Gainsight tools they needed and what they were ready for. Important Changes Coming Soon!On Oct. 8th, we're migrating Gainsight University to Gainsight CE.So what does this mean for you?Same website: You will still access Gainsight University via education.gainsight.com Same username: Your username on the new platform will still be your email address. New password required: You will receive an email request to reset your password on Oct. 21st. In-progress Courses need to be completed: Complete any courses that you have started by October 8th; otherwise, they may be reset to the beginning. Registration and Training will not be available between October 8-20: Gainsight University will be in a read-only state. I’ve seen this request a few different times on slack recently and I always suggest doing the API/URL trick but it seems to always intimidate people so I figured I’d write a guide. Note: This is for when you want a full list of your option GSIDs and can’t source them in a report due to not all of them being picked. You will need to GSID of your dropdown/multi select you are looking to get the options of. 3-4 ways of doing this Inspect Page - You can go to the dropdown list inside Drop downs inside Data Management, right click the list and inspect page.   The GSID is on the right side for its row and/or for the url, which is the url when you click on it Go to the Dropdown where you see the options and get the GSID from the URL   Call the API and Read the JSON, this retrieves all your Dropdowns and Multi Selects and returns their GSIDs Endpoint URL: https://YOUR_COMPANY_URL.gainsightcloud.com/v1/api/picklist/categories HTTP Method: GET   Al

Hello, wonderful Gainsight Community! I was recently laid off as part of a company-wide restructuring initiative. With my loss of employment, I no longer have access to my company’s Gainsight instance, and lost a valuable resource that’s crucial to my upcoming level 3 admin certification exam. I was curious if Gainsight has any sort of training environment, similar to how Salesforce does for Trailhead trainings, that I could utilize to continue honing in and perfecting my Gainsight admin skillsets while I’m on the hunt for a new opportunity? I feel this is crucial to my career as a Gainsight administrator, to not only stay on top of updates/rollouts, but also continue to fine-tune my skillsets and be the best administrator I can be, wherever I end up next.Thanks!
