Moving multiple replies to new topic?

Hi all,

Question: it seems impossible to move multiple replies to a new topic (it is possible to move them to an existing topic however). Can anyone tell me why?

    Hey Monique,

    This feature changed as a result of core platform changes. It's mentioned in this topic, under "Moving multiple replies to a brand-new topic".

    The current way to achieve this is to 'promote' a reply to a new topic, and then move the replies in a second transaction.

    In my post I mentioned we'd like to improve the user experience here (to save moderation effort) but we first wanted to assess the priority :)

    Could you please provide more details about this example where you needed to do all these steps in one go?
