As stated above, I am trying to create a report for management that shows a list of their teams accounts that don't have an Open CTA.
Is this possible? It might not be with the current data I have via the Call to Action object, but I was wondering if anyone has found a work-around for this? I know it's difficult to report on an abscence of data in Gainsight.
Thank you for the help!!

The work around I've used in the past was like this:
1) create a boolean field on Customer Info (defualted to false)
2) Create a rule that fetchest this data Set fetch count of CTAs, with a filter for status that are open to your organization
3) Then an action that wrties to customers, and maps to the field for ctas. If CTA Count > 0 set the new field to True, if it's 0 set it to false.

Thanks for the explanation! Haha this looks way easier than what I was setting up. I went the route of creating a full MDA object that I was loading accounts without a "New" CTA status, but your way is definitely quicker to implement!
Hi Manmeet - does this report need to live in a dashboard and be accessed on an ongoing basis or is this just a one off report request?
You really can't do this just in report builder, so you'd need to do this via a bionic rule. If it's just a one off report, you could run that rule and then just download the results as a csv. If it's an ongoing need, then you could push that data into an MDA table or use the method Todd mentioned below.
We are working on a new reporting engine that will bring the advantages of bionic rules to reporting, and when that happens, the scenario you described would be easy. :)

Hi Dan,
This report will be on a Manager dashboard, so it would need to update regurarly.
Looking forward to that new reporting engine though! It's been tough to report on abscense of data like this without bionic rules and new custom fields/objects being involved.
I went ahead with the suggestion outlined by Todd, that helped a lot! Thanks for following up too.
