I have a Date field in Gainsight CS on the Company table

It matches the same type (Date) as a field in Salesforce

 

When I am searching for the field in a rule chain so I can update Gainsight CS with the Salesforce updated data I am unable to find the field

It could be a few things here. Here are the things I would check:

  1. The Gainsight user for the SFDC integration doesn’t have access to view that field.
  2. You need to refresh the metadata for the SFDC connection (this usually happens if it’s a new field that was added.)
  3. You might need to add it in the Permissions (Load Actions) in the Rules Engines → Rules Settings
