When product managers review the ideas they would like to see the email addresses of who voted in the control view. That will help us understand if the voters are from the same company or not. It can be added as a field on the idea view in control environment.

Thanks a lot for sharing this idea @Aliya!

This one is definitely on our radar for the future - as an ideal solution, we’re considering integrations with CRM platforms to pull data into inSided and from there identify which users are from the same company. We see this as a great use case that would benefit from such an integration.

I can also see how being able to view email addresses would be good as an interim solution, or if it’s not possible to connect a CRM.

Curious to hear what others think!

This is something we would use as well, as we have specific messaging we deploy to requesters when we implement a feature, and we don’t currently have a CRM.

Guys, any news on that? We really need this functionality to be able to reach out to the customers who voted for ideas to help with the requirements and specs. Right now we have a couple of ideas which we are going to implement and these ideas have 100+ votes. Our previous tool allowed us to see the list of customers who voted with email addresses so that we could reach out to the target audience.

+1 on this. I had no idea this wasn’t a feature already, HUGE gap for us. Not only email address but just user in general, maybe Company or other fields on their Profile Page.

I also found the export feature a little lacking and was surprised to find that I couldn’t see who input the idea, much less who voted on it. This is a huge gap for us as well, as we’re planning on revving the product engine on our community and don’t have the ability to monitor, track, and report on this easily.

Apart from the PM use case that I’m sure you’ve heard (and that is one of our stories as well), I want to be able to see an aggregate of all of the employees that voted “for clients” or for themselves and take them out of the equation, as we don’t use that tactic anymore. It’s also important to me as we are revamping our gamification and it would be easier to see who is taking advantage of the points we’re awarding for upvoting or liking an idea.

I’m surprised to see this still has a status of Open after a year -- this is critical information for roadmap discussions. It’s not visible in Control and similarly, the export is missing vital information of WHO submitted the idea and WHO has upvoted it -- whether its including the user name, email address, or company in the export, we need some kind of identifying informaton in both Control and in the Export. It might not be something that folks like to discuss openly, but we all know that not all customers are created equal -- knowing which customer (and how many users they have) is behind a submission and an upvote is very important. A use case supported by a customer with 5000 users that use case is viewed through a different lens than a use case from a customer with 100 users.

I totally agree with @Julia_M here. This is super critical information for us.

Currently, we have a report set up in SFDC via Zapier which tags when a customer has submitted an idea, or voted for an idea, but this is not always accurate.

Another simple use case that came up the other day for us, was that one of our researchers wanted to reach out to all the people who had voted for an idea, but there was no way for me to help them, other than to tell them to hover over the votes on the front end and manually enter in their names. Not a pleasant experience for them, and also a roadblock for me to try and garner buy in from other teams to our ideation in the community.

Would it be possible to get an update on this idea? It looks like it’s possibly been in the works for a while now. To echo others, this is very useful information for us to ensure an idea has broad appeal, not just for one or two specific companies. Thank you!

I would also like to see an update on this Idea. The inability to export vote data is a big block for our product team. They want to be able to quantify the “Revenue Value” of idea votes when they are trying to decide on which idea’s they will put into our roadmap.

@olimarrio - could you get an update for us on this idea?
