Event-scheduled Bionic Rules missing notifications?

I heard through the grapevine that the S3 Job connectors are eventually going to be deprecated in favor of using Bionic Rule S3 Datasets. I've started the process of migrating my S3 jobs to Bionic Rules but I noticed that when I select the Event Schedule Type, there is no option to enter an email address for Success/Failure email notifications:

I don't see any reference to this missing functionality on the Scheduling Rules doc either.

I tested this, by setting up a rule to force-fail, and I did not get an email letting me know it failed.

Am I missing/overlooking something, or is this a pretty sizeable gap? I can't create rules that won't ever tell me if they succeed or fail.

I got your point Jeff. This indeed is a valid ask. I am working with my team to get this delivered in one of the upcoming releases. I will let you know the exact ETA soon.

Thank you for bringing this up.

I wish this hadn’t been something we had to ask for. It is a rather basic need, to know whether a job succeeds/fails.
