Hey Team!

Here with another request we've heard in Support.

Right now, in our reports 2.0, we have the ability to "Drill Down" into a graph for additional information. For example, if you have a graph being displayed in a column format, clicking on one of the columns will bring you to a report of all the data that contributed to that column.

While in this "Drill Down" report, you are unable to rearrange the order of the fields displayed. This would be a valuable feature for our customers.

Thanks for the assistance!

Product team is planning for a new feature called "Drill-through" / "Linked Report" (Terminology might change). It does allow you to link two distinct reports. In other words , It allows you to click on a cell value of the main report and that would open the linked report. Since these two are Independent reports, you will have flexibility to setup the report the way you want.

This functionality exists today in a specific area (Usage section in CS 360) of the product and not as a generic solution.

Navigate to CS 360 sections setup (Layouts), You would notice that "Report" option against "Usage". Click on it and setup the linked report / Drill-through report.

Once the setup is completed, then navigate to CS 360,  click on a value on "Usage" Trend report, it would open up linked report at the bottom section of the  Usage chart.

This feature is already there. When you build your report click in the drill in, grab the column header, and drag it into the position you want it. This works for both C360 and dashboards.

Screen shot of my drill ins in report builder. Notice background

Screen shot of the report on the C360, notice the background to confirm it is from C360.

Screen shot of it being changed in the report builder. Notice the background.

Screen shot after saving the change and it following through to the C360. Notice the background

The same is for Dashboards, screen shot of the dashboard in one drill through format.

Screen shot after I changed the report drill in from the report builder, notice background in both.

I tried saving the new arrangement of my fields in the drill down report but they won't save, they keep reverting back to the default setting.  First I save it in this order:

Then I check it again and it's reverted back to this order:
