I'm working on an internal email to our CSMs and I wanted to include a link to a survey about how helpful (or not) this communication is for our team members.

I know that if I embed a link into text, I can add tokens to the link for tracking purposes.

What's surprising to me is if click "Insert Link" while highlighting an image instead of text (any of the icons at the bottom) a different modal pops up where adding tokens isn't an option:

You’ve got it. Not possible. Right now we can only tokenize a textual link. It would beva nice enhancement if we could do the same with an image.

Thanks for posting it here!

We need to introduce the Image type of field in Data Management, once that is pushed to release. we can consume the same in tokens.

This request came up recently among our Ops team as we are reworking our Welcome email and would like to be able to add the CSM image as part of the template

We could really use tokenizing images.

@nitisha_rathi resurrecting this old enhancement idea ….. was it added to the roadmap and if so, is there an update available?

Thanks.

In our specific use case, we’d like to use a tokenized image link that can be displayed as a header image in an email, depending on an account id.  We’d have a single email template with a tokenized header/image link that would fetch and display the desired image based on the identifier we define.

This allows us to personalize the email appearance across 2,000 logos via 1 email template, instead of multiple templates.
