Have the ability to set advanced logic to merge criteria in Rules Engine
It would be ideal to be able to add advanced filter logic to merge criteria when merging two datasets in bionic rules. This would allow us to reference two fields where the identifier could be present to merge the data on. Currently, we have to perform to separate merges for each criteria and then merge the reports together a third time to create a final dataset.
+2Hi Samantha, I'm trying to understand your request a little more. Are you saying for example that you have Object A that has Field AA, and Object B that has Field BA and Field BB; and you want to merge the data if AA matches BA or BB?
+1That is correct! This would result in a line with AA and BA merged together and a line with AA and BB merged together.
+2But do you need separate lines for BA and BB or do you want to merge (union) the BA and BB sets together (like below)?
+1I would want separate lines for BA and BB. This would solve for when an identifier can be present in two locations on a single object.
