Issue: PX currently supports CSV export for in-app and survey engagement analytics but lacks this functionality for email engagement analytics (e.g., Engagement Summary and CTA Analytics). It is not currently possible to export any data associated with PX email engagements. This limitation and gap creates challenges in sharing performance data with stakeholders who may not have PX licenses or are not familiar with the platform.

Suppose you want to launch a survey via PX and, based on the survey responses, send a follow-up email engagement related to a current marketing initiative. Unless the entire marketing team and all internal stakeholders are licensed for PX, they cannot view the analytics for this email engagement. Many organizations, including mine, prefer to export engagement data to CSV format for further review and analysis in platforms like Excel, Google Sheets, or Tableau. This enables teams to share and preserve these metrics for users who are not familiar with the PX platform, as well as for licensed PX users who may need a different perspective on the data. It allows these users and relevant stakeholders to evaluate or manipulate the data in various ways.

Proposed Changes: It would be extremely helpful for Gainsight to introduce a feature to facilitate the export of email engagement analytics (i.e., Engagement Summary and CTA Analytics) directly to CSV, similar to the existing export options for in-app and survey engagement performance.

Addressing this gap in feature alignment would ensure consistency across all engagement types, making it easier for teams to report on performance and share data with stakeholders who lack PX access/familiarity. Exporting email engagement data would improve transparency, enable long-term data preservation, and support more efficient analysis of campaign performance.

Additionally, PX could optimize the export functionality further by addressing the related idea: Remove the 10k Record Limit for PX Exports. While these are distinct feature requests, implementing both would significantly enhance the PX data export capabilities, offering greater flexibility and comprehensive access to engagement analytics for users managing large-scale data exports.
