Hey all,
I use Insided to publish release notes that will link out to documentation also hosted on the platform. I will use the Insided articles inside of email campaigns and in-product messaging. There’s not currently a smooth way to grab the link. Here’s the workflow:
- Create a draft article
- Check it out in preview, send that around internally (great feature!)
- Publish the article, grab the link
- “Trash” the article (this should be changed to “Archive” or “Unpublish” as it’s not truly deleted - scares people!)
- Remember to re-publish it on the relevant date, as you cannot schedule an “untrash”
If we could grab the URL ahead of time, then we could schedule the article publication and we would be off to the races.
P.S - When in an article preview, clicking “Control” takes you to the general Control environment, not to the specific draft you are working on. Would be fab if we could get back to the editor of that draft.
