Allow user to edit the title of their topic

Joining the part super late….this just came up a short while ago.

Can we have any status on this being introduced?

Was a bit shocked to see that users can’t do this on the frontend. +1 to the idea, I want my members to feel proud of their posts, they should be able to make corrections to all elements of it after publishing. Titles are so, so important for engagement.

Since this is a recurring request, I have reopened this idea again 🙂

Hi there, I am also interested in this feature.

I would like to throw the following question into the round:
Do you feel like there should be some kind of limitation?

e.g. 

• Limit the amount of times it can be edited, and / or limit the timeframe within which it can be edited (e.g. within 1h from submitting)
• Permissions: admins can choose which user roles can edit posts, and separately which users can edit titles too.
• End users can suggest title edits but mods need to approve 
  • Edits wouldn’t happen too often, so I don’t see much added workload for mods

Just in case some users do misuse this, especially in larger communities.
