Unsubscriber that didn't open the outreach email?

Hi All,

I have a case where in the Emails Log there's a unsubscription event, but the user seems to never have opened the email.
How is the scenario possible? is there any way to unsubscribe without opening the outreach email?

Totally agree with Jeffrey.

To add more context here, open tracking is not always 100% accurate. It relies on loading an external image (small & transparent). Many times, email clients do not load images from external sources causing a miss for open event.

Email clients (e.g. Gmail, Outreach) have settings that allow you turn off open email tracking.  So they could have this set and then unsubscribed.
