Is there a size recommendation for thumbnail images? I don’t like the way these look at the moment. The orgianl image is the suggested 1440x640 as the featured image. May what I need to do is move the text closer to the center so it will appear nicer as a thumbnail.

Thanks for sharing the question. The image dimension is adjusted to fit the list view better. You can try to keep the main visual in the center to avoid unexpected cut on 2 sides. Here’s the guideline for featured image:
