Automated Private Message

Hey guys! 

I registered to another Insided based community - and a few minutes after registration I got a private message from the community manager. I wonder if it was automated and how to do so.

Hi @Idan so this automation would be achieved by adding a rank that sends a Private Message to any user who is newly registered. You can add certain actions to the rank that once performed will then trigger other certain actions e.g PMs and automatic new roles.

We do this with ranks as well! I’ve got ranks tied to custom roles, so when I assign someone the custom role of customer, partner, or employee, they get a welcome message tailored to that role. Works pretty well!
