I have a few questions on data designer. If I’m getting accounts from sfdc account object, how do I grab only gainsight customers (like in Rules Engine)?

Also, is there one place to view all @comments I’ve made across all clients?

Hi Spencer.  We are making an org-wide change to categorize our Accounts using a new field and set of field values.  This new field will exist on the SFDC Account object, as does the current field.

We want to identify in our Gainsight instance which Rules, Reports, CTAs, Dashboards, JOs, etc have a dependency on the the field that is being replaced.

Seeking your feedback on best practices and suggested approach to do this analysis most efficiently. 

We’ve started looking at the Account object via Gainsight Analyzer.  We’re not sure if this gets us the full level of detail we’d need to identify the specific field that is being replaced.

Is it possible to add tokens to a template in JO that are in a .csv vs SFDC?

Hi Spencer,

I’m trying to create a survey program to send out (for our Services Team Projects) when the status of a Project = Done OR 3 months from the Created Date of the Project. 

  • Is this just as simple as Created Date = Subtract N Days from Rule Date = 90 (OR will I need to create a Formula Field from a Transformation step?).
  • How to program this rule so that this doesn’t have to run on weekends.

Hi Spencer, 

We have some dropped participants from our Survey JO. I was wondering if it’s possible to generate a CTA with the survey link for the CSM to send to the participant separately?
