Our number of parent-child account relationships is growing at a fast pace and with that comes the desire to see both a health score and timeline activities at the parent-level. While we’ve created workarounds in Rules Engine to roll up health score measures at parent level, there is not yet a way to display child activities at the parent.

It would be really cool if there was an expandable section where you can see Timeline activities grouped by account name or labeled with account name, rolled up at the parent view.

@ana_g This is not on the short term roadmap. As a workaround, you can create a report and embed it in 360.

@ana_g, if you have an account hierarchy with a global ultimate parent, you could create a report based on the Activity Timeline object. Here are some more details on how to create a Timeline Activity Report.

Once the report is created, add it to the C360 as a related list. For the “Filter Report by” section, choose your Parent lookup field GSID. This will allow you to show all child data at the parent level. Here are some details on how to create a C360 related list

I would also recommend creating unique C360 layouts for both the Parent and Children accounts so that this report doesn’t appear on the child account.

Another work around is you can go to Global Timeline and create a new view that filters on Parent ID and Account name.  This creates a timeline that shows all entries for both the Parent and the Children.  I don’t see a way to “clone” that view so you could just customize for each Parent ID but it does allow you to create several customized  views.
